Hello! We are new to the forum but not to camping. We have been retired and spent a month in Florida last year. We had planned on being there already and canceled because of covid. We were planning on going to Okeechobee FL. Does anyone have any information or thoughts? Information to help make a final decision would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I would not let COVID dictate where we go or don't go in our RV. It's everywhere. I spent 3 weeks in Ormond Beach/ Daytona Beach/ Port Orange Florida in Sept/October. We had a great time!! Talking to the locals they said the virus wasn't too bad, although they were worried that people from big cities up North would bring it with them. When they found out we were from small town Ringgold, GA. they were very friendly!! I was no more worried about the virus down there than I was at home.

Welcome @Douwen to the forum. We are full time and have the liberty to go where we want when we want. We used this freedom to go places we felt were less risk and use common sense to reduce our risk. RVing should be continued in this pandemic with the same caution used at home.

Welcome to RVForums @Douwen. I think RVing is the safest option and life must go on. Be careful, be diligent, but we can't stay sheltered for years.
