Good Evening

When I park the rig in storage for long times the air eventually drains out and the rig drops down about 3-4 inches. I was wondering if there is a way to drop the rig before leveling so the step height would be less. I have seen this feature on other rigs over the years but don't know on my Ventana. Thanks Larry

I thought auto level dumped the air automaticly?

Yes I’m pretty sure that’s the first thing it does. Been three years since I had active air installed so I don’t remember exactly how the OE system worked. I just sold the coach and the new owners were thrilled that they could make the coach drop so that first step was easy.

On my 2018 Ventana the auto level dumps the air as the jacks start down. The problem is the jacks can reach the ground before the air is totally dumped so I've learned to hit auto level and once I hear the air escaping I hit auto level again to stop the jacks. I wait until the air has dumped then retract the jacks and start auto level again.

More often than not the auto level raises the RV higher than necessary so most of the time I retract the jacks and manually level.

Our leveling control panel has an air dump button.

Normally I use auto level and it dumps air first as others have mentioned. Of If I just wanted to lower without the jacks I could use the manual air dump.

Had a 2022 Ventana with equalizer levelling system. As above, hit auto level once, wait for air to start dumping, hit auto level again to stop the jacks. You could then hit retract all to bring the jacks back up. Good luck!

THANS TO ALL I had heard to also try turning key to left to drop air. Will try out this afternoon.
