I have a Jayco Hummingbird 17RB with a Norcold gas/electric refrigerator. I have read that you should turn your propane off while on the road. My question is: Is t safe to leave it on and have my refigerator operating whi;e on the road?

Unless you have a generator wired to your to your refrigerator, how are you going to keep your cold items cold?
It is ok and safe to keep propane on while driving down the road!

Not to be an alarmist but, the reason folks turn off propane when traveling, especially using a towable is that if a leaks develops it is very difficult to identify and remedy quickly.
A mix of propane and hot engine parts/exhaust is never a good mix.

We always turn off the propane when traveling and turn it on only after we have stopped moving.
