Does anyone pull a travel trailer with a durago? I have a small NO BO 19.8 and wanted to know how they are as pull vehicles.

Did you mean duranqo a dodge truck?

I pulled for years with a dodge dakota 318 v8. Tow capacity was 10500 GCVW. one 21ft silver liner when all loaded was close to capacity of truck, no problem. Also a 16' cargo trailer I made into a toy hauler so I could take the gold wing with us. Once again close to GCVW, no problem.

I put darango leafs in the dakota when the springs started sagging so most likely same platform or close to it. check the tow capacity and buy RV accordingly. Or by the RV of your dreams and buy a tow vehicle too.

You don't say what year your Durango is, but the 2020 version is rated to tow 6,200 to 8,700 lbs. With the "tow package," I'm guessing you are on the higher end of that range.

From what I see, the Forest River No Boundaries 19.8 has a GVRW of just under 5,000# so you are certainly within the tow ratings of your SUV.

"How they are as pull vehicles..." pretty much depends on the individual user. Some SUVs have a short wheelbase and cause them to have a bit of a choppy ride when towing, but I've never towed with the Durango, so can't give you a first-hand evaluation.

We pull our 25 foot travel trailer with a 2014 Durango Citadel with the tow package. It is rated for 6200 pounds, trailer is around 5000. No problems at all.

I pull a 2021 Freedom Express 195 rbs 23’ with the Durango’s little cousin “2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7“ w/tow pkg and air suspension (trail hawk model). 7200/720 max

we load out trailer to 5900-6000 range and load very specifically to even out loads and most weight from rear to just barely forward of axel. This gives us around 710-730 tongue weight, yes this includes WDH. with me,DW, Chihuahua and cooler puts us at or no more than 25-50 lbs over max weight rating on door.

the Jeep has built in sway control software for towing plus E2 8000 lb WDH Keep tow ride pretty damn stable.
I run at 60 mph only venturii above in very specific condition.

when I get passed by large big rigs I do get a little wiggle but not even worrying. Head on passes don’t seem to be an issue as well.

the worst cross winds I’ve encountered were probably 20-25 mph, again just a little wiggle and surges not worry some.

jeeps v8 power has absolutely no trouble with load. I can accelerate up grades if need be and run around 11-12 mpg when towing.
good luck you will be good with common sense towing
