Hi all! I am considering purchasing our first travel trailer (bunkhouse) and am completely lost on the towing figures. I have a '17 Ram 1500 4x4 5.7l Hemi and I am including the towing ratings per Dodge's website/the VIN below. I am also including specs of one of the trailers we are looking at (2018 DUTCHMEN RV COLEMAN LANTERN LT SERIES 17FQ.) Can you please help me understand if this is something that my truck can pull safely? FYI total weight of all passengers in the truck would be 600 lbs.

I also included a photo of the tow hitch. Will I need to install anything special (besides ball mount/ball?) Sway bars for example?

Thank you so much in advance!

For a trailer that size I want to say that you will have no problems towing with your PU. If I were you, I would definitely want an equalizer hitch just for stability.

Remember to add any weight you add to trailer. Water, food, toys, etc. This. Can add 1,000 lbs or more real quick.
