We recently bought a 2021 Sunstar 29V and have taken a few trips. I’m curious if anyone has experienced difficulty steering while flat towing? I’ve upgraded with the Safe t Plus and rear Trac Bar…when I tow our 2017 Ford Explorer AWD the coach is all over the road with Blue Ox tow bar and 4” drop.
 
Flat towing should not effect handling at all, other than maybe some minor reaction in high winds. Sounds like something else is going on. Any chance the steering in the toad is locking?

Thanks for the input…no the transmission is in neutral and the steering lock is unlocked and the battery is disconnected
 
You may want to consider a couple of hitch stabilizers. The receiver hitches have to have some clearance to allow the inner tube to pass inside the receiver. This clearance translates to lateral (side-to-side) slop. With a drop hitch, that lateral slop has just doubled. This lateral slop can cause the towed car to wander around back there, quite a bit. There are numerous styles of stabilizers, and you'll need 2 of them. One for the drop hitch and one for the tow bar. Here is a screen shot of some:
