I know there are a ton of RV parks in Florida and it's a bit overwhelming trying to decide. So - a recommendation would be so helpful. Looking to get out of Michigan for a month or so this coming winter and would like your opinion on a 55+ community RV park that is lively.

What region of Florida?

Better get on it.
I got an email from the park where we have our yearly lease that they were already booked up for next winter, and that was before we left in late april.

I could give a recommendation for south Florida where we have a lot but standby list is for multiple month rental and pretty lengthy. Good luck with search.
