Signed up with FMCA for the Verizon wifi and received the unit about 3 weeks ago. On our first road trip and not having good results.

Very weak signal, will load a tv program on our firestick then stops to buffer every minute or just quits entirely.....internet on my laptop very slow....ect.
Ran speed test and sometimes get 7-8 up and nil on down...sometimes faster and sometimes slower

Others here in the park Ive spoke to that have non FMCA Verizon devices working fine.

Any other "NEW" FMCA Verizon users out there experiencing the same?

May want to check how much bandwidth you've used and that you're not at your limit. Also try power cycling the device so it re-establishes with cell towers.

Thanks Neal....appreciate the input. So far I've only used 35 GB of the 290GB ceiling on FMCA/Verizon plan. Also I've power cycled the unit so many times its not funny. Speaking of funny....I tried calling FMCA Tech Connect today and got a voice mail. Also the Verizon plan is not shown on their website as of today. Makes me wonder whats going on. Something's not right!

At what point to they throttle you? I'm not familiar with the plan but I doubt they are giving you high speed up to 290 GB. It sounds like at 35 GB they slow you to a crawl but you're not shut out. What are the exact plan details?

Supposedly not throttled at all but who knows. The issue I described Ive been having since I took the Verizon unit out of the box so it I cant imagine its a throttling issue. FMCA tech connect says it's a Verizon firmware issue....sounds like an excuse to me.
