Anyone use freeze dried food when Boon Docking in the bush? Or store this type of foods for emergency? Looking at Mountain House foods..... Freeze Dried Food - Mountain House
 
How much water do you haul, same weight.
 
Freeze dried makes for some awesome snacks. Even the crumbled sausage is good to munch on. I slap together biscuits and gravy, pancakes and a few other dishes when we go hiking but haven't used it otherwise.
