I’m planning to camp in California this winter and some locations may have overnight temps in the 20’s though daytimes may be up in 50’s and 60’s. My Reflection has ducted heat to tanks and I can keep a faucet cracked to decrease frozen pipe possibilities. I wonder if temporary skirting and subtle heat under the trailer has been tried.(light bulb under the hood worked for my Jalopy back in the day) I’m camping in one place for a month+ at a time

Any time you can prevent air movement under a RV, you will be way ahead. With skirting in place, I doubt that you would need the “subtle heat under the trailer.” Your existing heater/furnace system should be able to keep up…as long as your RV has any sort of decent insulation.

While not easily portable, we used straw bales wrapped in plastic sheeting as skirting on a converted bus we had way back in the day. They worked great and were relatively inexpensive. Never needed any additional heating under the bus.
