Howdy guys, well my plan to go full time is almost a reality. I’m picking up a 2020 Jayco Greyhawk MV on the 23rd of this month. I’ve already gotten my 2021 Trailblazer RS set up as a Toad, also using an RVi brake 3 as aux braking with a wireless breakaway mounted under hood. According to my flow plan I will have a couple of weeks in my local area to figure out the systems on the rig and to get used to hooking/unhooking Toad. I should be on the road on the 10th of Oct. first, I’m headed to SD to hit America’s Mailbox to get an address set up and to get a SD license and plates for the vehicles. After I’m a South Dakotan I’ll head down to Athens TX to start school to become a certified RV Tech/Inspector. After school I will have to decide where to next. A plan started over 2 years ago is almost done. Wish me luck and hope to see you guys on the road.

Welcome, good luck, and please share your lessons learned as you make your way fulltiming for others to follow the dream.

Hi Neal,
I will absolutely post anything that I experience if I think it will keep others from making the same mistakes. This forum is invaluable when it comes to researching mistakes, silly or otherwise that others have gone through.

enjoy your dream! Don' t accept the rig unless you are certain it is as it should be. No joy needing skills prior completing school!

Hey there Don. X2 on taking delivery of the rig. I would spend at least half a day inspecting everything on it. Be sure to have them hook it up to power, water, and sewer for your inspection. Pull, push, wiggle, and try everything before driving off. As a full timer once out on the road you will soon discover that all those little warranty issues will be almost impossible to get taken care of by dealers around different parts of the country, especially in these "covid" times.

Welcome from Dallas GA. Best of luck with your plan.
