I have a 2029 Rockwood 5th wheel purchased December 2021 I love it except for the furnace .
The furnace has 2 zones. Zone 1 is living area and zone 2 bedroom and bath. Zone 2 is driving me out of bedroom with excessive heat and zone one blowing cool air. If I turn off zone 2 zone 1 doesn't work. I had the sail switch replaced back in April 2022 and today was my first time using. Until now my two space heaters and fireplace did the job. Today the temperatures have dropped to
5* F and windchill -30 F and the space heaters cannot keep interior comfortable temps.
I used a digital meat thermometer and the zone 2 outlets at top of stairs at entrance to bedroom was measured at 185* and 56* in living area. I also noticed that only one of the outlets was blowing hot hair 480*. The bottom produced no air at all.
I hate the thought of having to find someone to tow my trailer to repair shop. I live in my trailer year around. It's also too cold to be outside removing the furnace to take to shop.
Any suggestions are appreciated .

You need to make sure you getting heat into your basement to keep your pipes from freezing. Your propane heater should have vents in the basement for just that purpose. I put a space heater or something in the basement and open up all the cabinets below the sinks. I had my kitchen sink pipes freeze in my 5er and had to run a heater to keep them warm.

I think something is blocking the vent lines to the lower area or they have become disconnected from the distribution box. It is a problem in 5th wheels with elevated areas with one or 2 zones. It is not 2 furnaces or 2 distribution boxes. Even so, when running normally people report the low areas being to cold and the high areas being to warm.

Put in a small circulating fan to move the high hot air around.

The basic law of physics is, warm air rises, and cool air falls. You'll need to provide more circulation using a fan or fans to move the air around.

Also, check to see that the ductwork is solidly connected at the furnace and at the vents in each area. I found ours was installed using duck tape which had deteriorated. I had to remove each vent and properly tape it with metallic HVAC duct tape. Problem solved.
