One thing I've been impressed with using my Garmin 770 although I don't use it that often are voice commands. Some of the addresses here in AZ out west are not always recognized such as US HWY 89 or something along that and whether you need to spell out HWY as Highway, etc. When leaving Sedona to head north I wanted to hit the Pilot/Flying J in Flagstaff but couldn't get the address entered properly. So I tried saying "Voice Command" (the trigger for it to listen) then "Find Places" then "Pilot Travel Center" and it listed the nearest ones and bam, I was set. I've been using this more such as coming to Grand Canyon Trailer Village I did a "Voice Command, Find Places, Trailer Village RV Park" and verified the address and started navigation. Give your Voice Command a try, it really works well.
