Our 2021 Entegra Esteem 29V is almost 2 years old. Is it time to have generator serviced, or do we wait until we have 250 hours on generator?

I think it would be a good idea to change the oil at two years regardless of hours. If memory serves those units don’t have an oil filter. Also 250 hours seems greater than the published maintenance interval. Without the model # its just a guess, but you might want to check on that.

I’m sure there are lots of youtube videos on Onan oil changes - its quick and easy and cheap insurance. This article has some links for it but I’m sure there are many more. Oil change in a Cummins Onan RV QG 4000 Generator

Thanks for the info. that's what I was thinking too, but read somewhere that it was 250 hours and it didn't include an or timeframe.
