Hello, new owner of a 2021 Cedar Creek Champagne Edition 38EL and love my rig. There are a few things like all new rigs that need to be addressed or repaired, BUT, I did not get a generator with this rig and would like to add one. I have 3acs and huge residential fridge, what size generator are you using and do you mount this I. The front cubby or use a portable unit to save the storage space? Thank you in advance.

Most Class A coaches with three ACs have 10-12kw generators. You could probably use an 8kw with judicious power management. Something that big though would probably be better carried in the bed of the truck if possible. You really need to look at the combined power consumption of all the stuff you want to fun at any given time to make the determination. What do other big 5th wheels use?
