Hello all! I have a Montana high country 377fl. Height on it is 13’4 and the bridge and tunnel max height is 13’6. Has anyone traveled this with similar height and did ok or should I avoid it? Would really like to head down to the Carolinas for a trip just worried about the height. Thanks I’m advance!

Semi trucks go through all the time with 13'6" trailers with inches to spare. You won't have a problem. If you are still nervous call the bridge authority and ask.

We live in Hampton Roads, I see all types of rigs on the CBBT. Heavy truck traffic, as mentioned, all clear with no issues. Be more aware of your lane keeping in tunnels, as they merge two way traffic into single lanes each way. When I took our 38' gasser through the oncoming trucks gave a ton of push at you. Also be aware of winds, they will shut down truck and RV traffic in high winds. You will have to stop prior to crossing to demonstrate propane is shut in.

Lastly, time your travel. 0600 -0830 and 1500- 1830 are rush hour for the area bases in Hampton Roads. Many of the roads can turn into parking lots due to congestion, construction, and stupidity.

Safe travels.
