Has anyone had problems with their tank valves ? Ours broke (they wouldn't move in or out ). We were in Utah and thank God we found a camping world and the rv was still under warranty . They said they had to order the parts and would take a week but i got them to overnight the parts and it took 2 days . Then 2 days later the black tank gets stuck open , so I put an emergency back up valve on the pipe and that"s how were doing it for now . waiting for an appointment with La Mesa . There has to be another system besides these wire push and pull crappy devices. Anyone know of any other system that they can throw in there ?

I found out about this via forum posts..... Mine were working really hard too. I drilled a small hole big enough to insert a spray can tube and used silicon lubricant. Naturally drill the hole above the handle and use a screw to plug the hole. Worked really well. Finally had to replace the valves a month ago after 5yrs of full time use.
I have direct access to the valve handle/rod and don't have to rely on wires to work the Valterra branded valves.
