If you've done a caravan or group tour with other RVers formally organized share your experiences. Tell us what you did, where you went, and how was it? If anyone has done multiple, share your recommended tours.

We were lucky in that we were able to sign up for the Newmar Kountry Klub Grand Circle tour this year. Can't wait!

never with a group outside our personal circle. But within our group (up to 5-10 rigs) we have done trips to Temecula CA Wineries, Coeur D'alene Idaho, Albuquerque, Northern AZ, Laughlin and Las Vegas. Hardest thing is coordinating rv spots. We rarely all caravan together usually it ends up a groups of 2 or 3 then we have a time to meet at the sites, get set up and the party begins. Once there we usually have 1 or 2 things planned then its on your own. The only food that gets planned is dinners. Usually go out more than we cook in but we have at least 1 or 2 dinners planned. Mexican food potlucks work the best. Steak works great if you use a Sous-Vide system. Get all the steaks in one place 2 hours before dinner. Put them in vats with a Sous-Vide and then when your ready to eat toss them on a grill for 2-3 minutes to get everyone the right temp on their meat.

Its how high end restaurants prepare steaks and other meats in advance of when the guest orders it. It uses a water bath to bring meats to an exact temperature then never exceeds that temperature so the meat is perfectly cooked. Just add a char and your meats will always be perfect. I use it to cook lots of meat at one time so everyone eats together.
