Hi all, my wife finally got tired of me staring at coaches and said I needed my life back. So now we have a 1999 American Tradition that we are just getting to know. I've had pop ups, a travel trailer, a fifth wheel, and finally got into a coach. I specifically went after the American late 90's coach because my brother in law picked up a 1998 American Dream. I figured that if I was going to go in green on this (as he did) then I would look for the same coach so that we could help each other troubleshoot. Im officially on Day 3 with this coach. I had a 15 minute lesson on how to move it and then I was given keys. Nerve wrecking experience but happy to say yesterday was better than the day before by a long shot. 40 foot trailer had me asking my wife why she didn't stop me when I was looking! She questioned the same herself. So far our coach is looking pretty good... a few things here and there but otherwise, ran very nice on the highway. Looking forward to learning and contributing!

@Kuate Howdy and welcome from another resident of the Great State of Texas! There are a lot of great folks here that love to hear about travel experiences and that are willing to help answer questions when they can. You may already be aware that in Texas a Class B license is required to be a legal driver of a vehicle with a weight greater that 26,000 lbs. Written test and driving test are required. I scheduled and took my driving test at the Dallas South DMV.
