I have been a camper my entire life. My parents, sister ,and I tent camped all through our childhood. My dad bought a 31ft travel trailer when I was 15. My husband and I tent camped when our two daughters were little and bought a 26ft hybrid travel trailer in 2015 and took it cross country. We lived in it full time for over a month. My husband bought me a teardrop hybrid for my 50th birthday and I love it!

Life events are such now that I must sell and buy something else and am open to suggestions. I need a travel trailer that is less than 5000lbs. My husband passed away from cancer last summer and I would like to trade/sell my 2 current campers and buy something solo friendly. I would prefer NO slideouts. I would like bunks but that's not a deal breaker.

So sorry for your loss!
It is time to visit as many dealerships and RV shows that you can. Take notes and be very prepared to walk away! The internet is also your friend, and does not pressure.
When you're ready, be prepared to haggle and have finances pre approved elsewhere.
Do a VERY thorough inspection before taking delivery if new; if used, hire an independent inspector.
