Growing up my family owned a 1962 16' Shasta travel trailer to vacation in every summer (in the 60's). The trailer didn't have the conveniences trailers have now, no shower, toilet, etc. It came with an ICEBOX, not a refrigerator (until dad put one in). Many great trips. Recently I purchased an old 1972 trailer to use for short trips. Up until now I've only ever pulled smaller boat trailers but this one seems fairly easy to tow and maneuver (probably the size and weight). It is in surprisingly good shape and tows easily. Weight is 3,000 lbs. This trailer has a shower and toilet and many other more modern conveniences. I am not going to 'restore' it just get all the appliances in working order and get the white water and black water (no gray water tank) tanks functioning along with water heater.
I hope to be able to query the minds here should I run into any problems I can't conquer.
Thanks!
