Hello... long time listener, first time caller. My wife and I just picked up our new 5th wheel and drove it 288 miles home today. Very excited about camping in it for the first time next week! We just upgraded from a hybrid travel trailer to a Chaparral 355FBX. The floor plan is awesome for us and our three kids. We will be sure to post from our campsite.

Nice rig. I'm thinking of purchasing a 35 ft class A. I know the fifth wheels have better and larger accommodations, but I don't own a truck large enough to pull it. My Dodge 1500 ram would need to be traded in for a larger 250. But with the class A, I would need to purchase a towable car. Decisions decisions decisions .. Enjoy!

Our plan is to keep this until we retire and then upgrade to a Class A and spend our retirement traveling North America. Class A's just couldn't provide the room we needed with three kids unless we spent WAY more than we were willing to spend at this point in our lives.
