Help identify a part - I have no clue what it is

Hi everyone... I just bought a used Coleman pop up camper and I'm hoping someone can tell me what in the world this fixture is for on the ceiling. The 'handle' part only comes down about an inch. Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you looked at what's over top of that area on the roof?

Yes, flyboy013 got it. A clothes hanger. If I remember correctly if you pull down on it a bit it will drop down more than an inch.
