Help identifying mysterious fixtures inside 2018 bay star

I have a circular black dome object mounted to the side of a window valance with two white wires leading to the exterior

I cannot figure out what it is

yup - room temp sensor. If you have two zones you’ll find another one in the other zone somewhere.
