I have a 2016 Ventana with the Sony setup. My AV Receiver bit the dust so I'm in the process of replacing it and cleaning up all the spaghetti in the AV cabinet while I'm at it.

All was going well as I removed all the components one at a time, labeling all the wiring as I progressed. When I got to the dead AV reciever I had a big setback. As I was sliding it out to get to the back connections, it slipped out of my hands and all the speaker wires pulled out of their terminals before I could write down what went where.

I'm ready to but everything back together but am stuck until I can figure out which speaker wires go to what post. I'm praying one of you have already done this and can help me match up the color codes. I have 5 sets of speaker wires color coded as follows;

Black/White
Black/Red
Black/Green
Black/Grey
Black/Blue

If someone can save me I will be eternally grateful!

Have you called Newmar customer service? They are usually pretty helpful with things like this.

Otherwise, our site administrator, @Neal, has a 2017 Ventana and has done some pretty extensive audio/home theater work on his coach. There are some other audiophiles among us as well. Hopefully, someone might have that information or, at least, photos of the back of the receiver with the wires connected. Someone should be along soon to try and help.

Good luck.

One mine, the connectors on the back of the receiver (which is the surround sound amp) each of the positions is stamped. FR/FL C RR/RL sub. Are you sure you're just not seeing the labels? They may be rather inconspicuously marked so look close. If that does't work, Google the make/model and you'll find what your looking for.

Have not called Newmar yet as this just happened today (Sunday). I know Neal has done this swap so maybe he can help. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not confused on the positions, they are well labeled. The problem is the speaker wires going to the terminals are not labeled so matching the correct wire to the correct terminal is the issue.
Thanks for the reply.

I had a car audio shop actually install my Pioneer in mine. I tried on my own at first and realized it may not end up well. They will know all of the wires, consider finding a place locally that can allow your MH to be parked in a place for them to do the work and let the expert(s) do it. There are some funky things Newmar does as our dash radio is always on, parking brake type wires, etc.
