Question Help with Door Safety Rail

Hi everyone, we just bought a Lance 2185 trailer, but have a small challenge. My husband is left-side impaired due to a stroke so he can't use the rail on the left side of the door to climb up the stairs to get in the trailer. He needs a rail or safety bar on the RIGHT side, or inside the door, to get in. I looked at some of the folding rails that swing 180 degrees, but on the inside of the trailer next to the door, there's a window and the rail will likely not be flush to the door when we're not using it. That will make it hard to access the side of the bed. Thanks for any tips!!
