I had one and loved it. It is a bit pricey! I found a used one that was half the price of a new one. Shipping was high since the hitch is heavy.

I had no problems backing the 2" steel bar into the 2" receiver. Some folks do experience frustration if the hitch is not lined up both vertically and horizontally with the steel bar. With practice it becomes easy.

Once the steel bar is inserted into the receiver the rest is a piece of cake!

We found it to control trailer sway when the big trucks and empty flatbeds passed me.

Good luck!

I had a regular weight distribution hitch with two spring bars and one sway bar. It did not meet my needs as our travel trailers got longer and heavier. If you go that route make sure the spring bars are suited for your application. My spring bars may have been too weak for my last two travel trailers. I went with the 1st generation Hensley Arrow (Orange) hitch and used a nut driver to tighten the spring bars. I would do it again if I had to.

It may depend on your rig. What you are towing with and the weight/size of what you are pulling.

I am looking for opinions on Hensley hitches.
are they worth it?
are they easy to hook up/unhook?
thanks

I have never used weight distribution or anti sway personally but a good buddy and my cousin both use the Hensley and swear by them. Both have told me its the cats meow over other systems. Once you do it a few times its a simple process hooking up.

7000 pounds, 30 feet long. 555-pound tongue weight according to the brochure
Ford Expedition Max. rated for 9000 pounds.
Your setup is mot much different than mine. I use Recurve 6 and it works great.
