Hello. We moved our retirement plans up. We are hoping to downsize, sell our home and spend a year RVing across the country. Once we find the "best" spot, we will buy a meager home, but will continue to travel 6 months out of the year. We are looking forward to sharing with other and learning along the way!

Thats the life Im dreaming of living. I think we are 5 years from being there.

Our "home base" will be Georgia, unless the Republic of Texas movement takes root, then we are off to the Lone Star State.

Georgia exempts state income tax on pensions at age 62 and 65. Outside of the coast and the Atlanta metro region, home prices are affordable, property taxes and insurance are low, cost of living is below the national average. Alabama is similar.

Welcome @Tish210 to the forum, sounds like exciting times ahead. Please keep us posted as things progress.

Welcome from Georgia!
