I usually try to stay at (or around) 60mph. Going through some of the cities you can't drive that slow without being a danger to those speeding in/out around you.

On my last trip home, which turned out to be an unpleasant 10-hour drive in a hot coach, I found myself at 65-70 and even 75 at times. Coach runs so smooth that you don't realize how fast it's going. Hate to go that fast as it kills my fuel mileage and there's always the concern of a blowout. Mileage dropped from my normal 8 mpg to a 6.3 mpg.

Anyhow, curious as to where everyone's "sweet spot" happens to be?

Cruise set to 75

Cruise at 72. Time is money, I don't care about fuel burn. I also don't like being a road hazard for highways with everyone having to pass the slow poke.

Know your tire speed limits, mine is 75 so I consider that red line and never exceed it.

The Honda CRV has a towing speed limit of 65 mph. Sometimes I pass at 70-75 mph but my cruise speed is 65.

I’m retired so not in a big hurry, I set cruise 62-65. I find I start to lose my comfort level above 65, I will go faster passing someone doing less than 60 mph.

Cruise set to 62-64 range. Safety range for me.

Usually around 62 for us.

I drive at 1800-1900 rpm's which equates to 68-70 mph. I get better fuel mileage at this rpm.
