My wife and I bought this Coachman Spirit Lite RB TT new from the dealer a couple of years ago. We've left the slide out, slid out during a recent rain period and found that my carpet was wet.
I caulked some of the places that looked suspect and during another rain, I checked it and *&^ the carpet was wet again in the outer rear of the slide out. I placed the dehumidifier and a heater in there and dried it all out.
I think I've narrowed the leak down to the top of the slide out where the L shaped metal angle thing that's mounted to meet the trailer when it's slid in.
I've got slid back in and it's not leaking. My question is. Under that angle piece, should I just seal it with that clear Geocell caulking , or should I get some of that white tape stuff and put in under that Angle piece and re-tighten the screws? Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
