Cal DMV, recipient of so much of my hard earned dough, takes bout 9 months to deliver these. Long enough to give up on the idea and forget about it. I got in the mood ordering historical plates for a a ‘73 Volvo P1800ES (which I still haven't received). My Battalion Chief rig (Suburban) was always referred to as a BC Buggy. So at the time it made sense. Sort of. Now it almost seems kinda dumb.
Edit: For those who may be interested: the P1800ES. It was also a Toad for about 2800 miles (on a trailer).
