Hey everyone,

I’m new here and have a question about installing a bidet onto my RV toilet. I attempted to connect my bidet and found that the fittings from the bidet, which attached to a household toilet no problem, do not work on the RV toilet. I think I’m somewhat mechanically inclined but this one has me stumped. I have no idea what parts I would use to make this work, I know it’s some kind of adapter but the other thing is I am not sure exactly what size the fittings are. I believe the bidet size is 1” while the RV water hookup is 3/4”. Anyways has anyone done this before or could offer me any advice on getting this set up? We are living in the RV full time for now and unfortunately the bidet has become something we don’t want to live without anymore haha

thanks in advance!

More that likely the fitting on your RV toilet is 1/2" pipe thread and the fitting you have is the same size as the fill valve on a residential toilet. Maybe you can go to a hardware store and try to find what you want. Maybe on the male end of your bidet fitting you can use a 3/4"x1/2" pipe reducer with a 1/2"x close nipple and a 3/4"x1/2" bushing for the female end? Not sure without trying them for fit.
