Insurance Claim

We had an accident with our RV. The wstimate is $15k but State Farm is only willing to pay $9,500.00. Any light some of the members can shed on this situation. This is so frustrating because we feel the accident was our fault but they refuse to spend resources kn going after the other party. Thank you in advance.

Most of the big RV dealers have dedicated claims people on the insurance side and they can help negotiate closer to what the insurance is willing to pay. I had repairs done by NIRVC and they worked hard with my insurance to get a fair price.

Do you have a typo? If it was your fault, why would they go after the other party? If was not you fault, why aren't you going after the other parties insurance?
