I am currently at Cummins in Chattanooga, TN to fix an exhaust leak. First noticed a high pitched squeal at idle and Cummins Billings identified it as an exhaust leak on #6 cylinder port. Travel schedule with a commitment at end of October I chose to get this fixed once I arrived in north GA.

Cummins service inspected and also found one bolt on #1 port had backed out about half way. I have 70,000 miles on the engine and have elected to install new gaskets across the manifold. I got lucky, all bolts were free and none broken. I’m a little disappointed that at 6 years, 70,000 miles this happened. Probably 3 days in the shop and $4500 dollars.
