Helli. I'm a new member and just bought a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder. I have so many questions and thought I might get some answers here. The first question is, how do I plug a regular extension chord into my rv to charge the battery. Is ther an adapter?

Do you have a 50 amp cord on the Bounder? If so, you can buy "dog Bone" adaptors. You'll have to go from 50 to 30 to 20amp, THEN you can plug this into a regular wall socket or an extension cord. Although when you do this you won't be able to run your air conditioners or microwave or anything that pulls a big load when they first come on. It will kick the breaker. I keep my 2006 Holiday Rambler Ambassador plugged into a 20 amp outlet in my garage. Mostly to run the residential 'fridge I installed and to keep the house batteries charged. In the Winter I also set the furnace to 40 degrees and let it run to keep anything from freezing up. It runs the blowers just fine along with the 'fridge and inverter.

Thanks, so much. I went to the rv place and got an adapter. Then I left the RV at the dealer for a full inspection and work over. My heater wasn't working. Thanks again.
