Hi Everyone
I have a Coachman Spirit Lite 2557RB
I had a leak originating from the rear outside corner of the slide out.
Whatever you call that aluminum angle piece that runs the edge of the slideout was loose.
It appears the last screw wasn't all the way in.
I unscrewed it and found the wood/screw was stripped out and won't tighten. I was going to remove all the screws so I could tilt it outward and run some caulking under the full length of the metal piece and then re-screw it
Well, the 1st screw seems to be stripped out of the wood.
Moved to the next screw. That one broke off. The head of the screw sheared off. Mutter grumble grumble growl.
Do any of you know how long the screws are? Maybe I need to get some bigger or longer screws or just take the darn thing into a repair place to get it sealed up?
I wonder if it should come all the way off and then some of that sealing tape stuff be placed under the metal and then screwed tight?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank so very much
Doug and Shannon
