Hi everyone. I became an new owner of an Intech 2024 Sol Dusk. I decided to change over from the Agm battery to a 300Ah LiFePo4 battery (DumFume). After purchasing battery and switching over all over the wiring and setting the power control center to LiFePo4, I found that the DumFume would not allow transfer over to Battery power when I switched off the AC main breaker. The AGM battery had no problem switching in for power. I tested this by turning on the overhead LED lighting with no result.

My voltage meter indicated 14.5 volts applied to the battery from the power control center. Leaving that to charge the battery several days, the dumfume never activated to control the DC cicuits.

DumFume tech support said I was overloading with my load that i applied even after I told them that i never applied a load other that the LED lighting.

They said that the 300Ah bettery was not intended for this use (Bull S).

Today I am returning my DumFume.

I am asking why this could have happened and are other batteries doing this as well. I don't need a BlueTooth BMS since I already have a shunt installed monitor.

I guess I am asking also which other manufacturer's batteries are working fine in the Intech Dusk.
