I am trying to find the location of the vacuum pump that operates the blend air doors for the chassis A/C. Because it is a diesel there has to be a pump somewhere. I am pretty sure it is electrical as I have not found anything mounted on the engine.

It's a 2002 Ambassador.

My mechanic is great. He informed me that my vacuum pump is a venturi operated of the air system and triggered by a solenoid whose fuse was blown. Took him an hour to find it but just a fuse.

Glad it was a simple fix. Good that you shared for others that may have similar issue.
