Sadly We need to travel to Grants Pass for a memorial service for a recently departed Cousin. We have yet to travel that for north in the coach and are thinking of taking it instead of driving a car and hoteling it. Looking to stay two nights. Any recommendations or warnings would be greatly appreciated.
Looking into River Park RV park as they are quite close to GP.
Thanks All

We stayed at the Grant’s past KOA journey 2 years ago. It was really very nice. Very cute little place. Well taken care of some of the spaces were not completely level, but we were able to get the coach leveled up without too much trouble just on jacks
Easy in and out - we had 45 foot coach plus a Jeep in tow - had no problems
Safe travels

If you don’t mind a 25 mile drive up hwy 5 to Grants Pass, Southern Oregon RV park is located in the fairgrounds in Central Point. This is a really nice, clean park that I highly recommend. We have stayed many times.

I’ve never been there but I have friends who are neighbors of the park and they recommend it.

Agree with the above comment about Southern Oregon RV Park, I have stayed there numerous times when travelling up/down I-5. There is also an easy in/easy out Costco Fuel with Diesel very nearby if you do that. Also, have stayed several times at the Valley of The Rogue State Park. I wouldn't have any reservations about staying in either of these two again. (Edit to say it has been a couple years since I was up that way and as we know, things can change)

Last summer stayed a couple nights at River Park RV...small but well kept and the river front spots are awesome...

We have stayed overnight at "Rogue Valley Overnighter" on a number of occasions. It worked for us as we just needed a quiet, safe place to stop on our way south for winters. We have also stayed at Riverpark but only once because it is more out of the way than the "Overnighter". Riverpark is nicer though in that sites are better spaced and it's not just a parking lot with services.

Safe travels

Darrell
