Mallard Back Up Camera

We jumped in feet first and purchased a 2021 Mallard M33. New for sure to the camper world but why start small. ? We are being told since it is wired for a Furrion camera that is the way we must go...is the dealership just telling us that or has anyone found a work around/alternative?

I bought a new twilit Which is pretty much the same as Mallard. I purchased the back up camera and 7” screen it stopped working on my first trip out.
