After the Newmar International Rally, we moved to Colorado Springs for a few days. My wife has had the Manitou Incline on her bucket list for years and finally had the opportunity to conquer it. The Manitou Incline climbs over 2,000 vertical feet in less than a mile and has sections as steep as 68% grade. There are 2744 steps and its basically a straight up-the-mountain staircase.

She reached the summit in a little over 3 hours and then celebrated with other climbers before the almost 4-mile hike back to the base.

Me, well I was the encourager.
