I'm considering replacing both factory skylights with aftermarket Maxim(s) on a 28" Flying cloud. When I pull up the Maxim PDF order form it shows an outer skylight, a inner skylight, a flat panel skylight and an outer metal frame. When I watched the install video it shows a person pulling off the factory skylight, cleaning adhesive tape, fit assessment, then applying sealant and putting skylight over opening. There is nothing shown about installing a frame, the inner flat panel, an inner dome followed by the outer skylight. Has anyone installed the Maxim skylights to advise if all of the components listed on the Maxim PDF form are needed? I'd appreciate guidance from someone that has completed this replacement.
