Admittedly I am not a handy person. Also, electricity scares me especially in my 5 th wheel.

I would like a few more electrician sockets if safe. Not for anything heavy. Possibly to charge phone or tablet devices, an Echo device etc. I am thinking maybe one of those plugs that goes in a 2 socket plate with 4 sockets or something like that. I’d rather not use a power strip due to space.

What would be safe and recommended? If anything.

I am using what you have suggested in the bathroom. I also put a power strip (velcroed to thenwall under the dinnette table, with a small charging station velcroed under the table (one on each side). That is about ten charging slots. I also have a strip on the side of the holder for the workstation, next to the passenger seat.

In our previous coach we used plugs that had two outlets and usb connections for charging devices.

Worked well and just plugged into existing outlets.

We have one in the sticks and bricks that has six outlets plugged in a standard outlet. All small items plugged in so not a problem.

Should not be a big deal since you are still limited to the actual outlet current rating anyway.

If most of your power needs are small such as the phone and tablet that you mention and maybe some rechargeable lighting, try going with a small solar panel kit addition to your RV's battery.

The Harbor Freight kit has a hundred watts of full sun generating capacity and its charge controller has several USB outlets that are perfect for your needs.

I have a few USB hubs because I got tired of all the wall warts. So many things now charge via USB cables. This was an easy plug in solution to my problem. One is located next to the TV. It is powering the hotspot, wifi router, Nintendo Switch game, security camera and has an extra USB cable to do things like charge my cellphone that I forgot to charge last night. And if I decide to, I can relocate it to another outlet. I have two more plugged in elsewhere so I can power more electronic stuff amazon.com/gp/product/B08QSKRBWF/

I also have replaced/added these duplex/usb outlets to my daughter's camper. www.harborfreight.com/20-amp-125v-2-usb-rapid-charging-outlet-64424.html

You can buy these type at many places. Just make sure you get the fast charging ones. To be honest, I find the USB hub handier than the duplex/usb outlets.
