So I’m reading 0% soot load (OTR diagnostics) in my DPF which I know isnt right, and also cant do a proper forced regen, probably becuase since its reading 0%, the ECM sees no reason to activate the “7th injector”. So my forced regens are running around 670* instead of 100-1200 degrees. And while initially I toyed with the idea that having that sensor non-functional will also prevent any DPF related derates, it will also lead to an early death of my DPF. So, whats the problem? I cant find the differential pressure sensor. I can find them on line, and they are only around $100, but I cant locate it on my DPF. Its a 2015 XCR chassis (2016 Ventana) and it should be quite standard and fairly obvious. Can anyone direct me to the thing so I can replace it? The temp sensors are readily obvious.
