Interesting communication from Cummins:

Introducing Industry-first Predictive Service Insights

Dear Cummins Service Tool User,

We are excited to share information about new alerts you may begin seeing in Cummins Service tools, including INSITE, QuickServe Online and Guidanz. Cummins now offers Predictive Service Insights, directly from your vehicle’s Cummins engine to alert you of a component that is expected to fail, providing a service recommendation that allows you to proactively schedule maintenance – minimizing your vehicle’s downtime. Predictive Service Insights will be available on select X15 2017-2020 engines to start. The following three components are included with more planned for the future:
  • PM sensors (particulate matter)
  • Engine out NOx Sensors (nitrogen oxide)
  • System out NOx Sensors
Users of Cummins service tools (INSITE, QSOL, Guidanz) will begin seeing notifications in these tools by end of January 2023 and customers enrolled in PrevenTech (formerly Connected Diagnostics) who are eligible for Predictive Service Insights will also receive these alerts via email
Alerts will notify when components are close to failure and provide a recommended action plan.
Components that are still within Cummins’ warranty coverage program at time of replacement will be covered under warranty
If you require any assistance, please contact Cummins Care at 1-800-CUMMINS(1-800-286-6467) and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for being a valued Cummins service tool user.

Sincerely,

Cummins Connected Solutions
