Checking in from North Carolina. Our family purchased a 2022 Independent Trail 188DBK Travel Trailer about a month ago. Took it out a few weekend ago to Jordan Lake for the first time and absolutely enjoyed ourselves even with less than ideal weather. Going back to Jordan Lake in 2 weeks then White Lake 2 weeks after that. Got trips planned and paid each month for the next 4-5 months ahead.

Our plan is to enjoy this one for a year or so then upgrade to something bigger.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on the trailer, JZTT. But most of all, congratulations on the new adventures. You're gonna have a ball. We spent a month in NC earlier this year, (Lake Toxaway). What an absolutely beautiful state.

And I have to chuckle at the realism of "then upgrade". When we bought our first coach, RVing friends said "in your next coach" . . . and I said 'no way'. This one is perfect; I'll never get another. Yeah . . . that was several coaches ago!

Have fun, and safe travels.

My best, Ed

Welcome aboard from another NC RV’er. In fact, drove over Jordan Lake today!
