My wife and I are considering buying a camper. I asked on some other forums about camping and they all pointed me here. So I am hear to research and ask questions as they come up!

Welcome aboard. Lots of folks here with plenty of knowledge. On occasion, you may not get an answer you are looking for but you might have to settle for an opinion or two.

Welcome to RVforums from Ely, Iowa. I have been a member of this site for several years and I have found it to be the best. Great administration and awesome members always willing to help.

I just posted this comment on another post but I think it applies here as well. We are in our 70s. We primarily camp in public campgrounds: county, state, federal (Corp of Engineers Campgrounds (COE) are some of our favorites) as well as small town parks. My wife loves to sit and read books as well as take walks around the campgrounds and trials. We travel with two dogs. Sadie our 15.5 year old Cavalier King Charles and Lucy our Golden Retriever 4 years old. Both dogs were rescues when they were young. the dogs love to go on walks as well. We both like to bike and are looking into E-bikes. We have always been bikers and enjoy it. I spend time tinkering with our coach. I like to fish although I have not done so lately. I can tell you that when we are at a COE campgrounds on the Mississippi I love to sit and watch the barges and boat traffic on the river. We have the Senior pass and use it often. We also are long term members of Harvest Host (HH) and use it almost every trip. HH has many museums, vineyards, golf course, breweries to visit and say at.
