Hi,

Kevin (and Amanda) from N Alabama. Thanks to my military service, I’m now retired/disabled at 48. Our oldest is 16 and will be graduating in 2 yrs. So, we decided that we would start traveling some more. We just put a deposit down on a 2023 Vibe 28RL. Hopefully will pick it up next weekend-ish. Starting to now go through a list of essentials you need to actually “use” your RV. Sewer hose, water hoses, chocks, weight distribution hitch, etc…

This will be the first travel trailer I have towed, though I grew up on a farm and have pulled countless trailers from utility trailers to a 5th wheel 4 horse slant pull trailer, as well as all the military crap I drove…. I will admit, I am a little anxious about towing for the first time, just because…

Sorry - 1 follow up question…

Not sure where to search here, but is there a list somewhere of the essentials that I mentioned earlier?

Hello and welcome. Congrats on your purchase / deposit, you're going to have a blast. This question does come up often and you can try searching the site. Amazon Prime is the first thing :) and you can get things as you need them, ship to campgrounds, etc. Basics are obviously things you described, basic tools, but don't overdo it, you'll run out of space in a hurry or start finding things you don't use for a year or two and start discarding stuff you never needed. Yeah, been there done that.

Good advice Neal don't buy stuff until you need it.

Welcome aboard and thank you for your service!
