Hello I just purchased my first RV, 2021 Forest River sunseeker 2250LE. I live in Palm beach Co. Florida.
I am looking for any advice for a newbe. insurance, memberships into clubs, roadside assistance? travel advice,

Welcome @sgehr and congrats. Search is your friend. You'll need to get quotes on insurance as it will vary by person, good rates for me may not be good for you, etc. I used an insurance broker, I'll include the info below, they may help find the best rates for you. Memberships - only join what will benefit you such as a rally, etc. Many new RVers such as ME joined everything to only find a few were used. I'll re-join if there is something I want to do but most I have not renewed as I didn't use their services or go to their events. I went to rallies as a new RVer then after going to a few I didn't find value in them any further, some I do, some are the same as others. I had both Good Sam and Coach-net roadside assistance. After using coach-net and realizing how good of an experience that was I dropped Good Sam and remained with coach-net doing a 3 year extension. Use the trip planning forum below to ask questions about destinations you're considering and search the forum on campground finder apps as well as GPS's to use.

Hello,

Watch a lot of You Tube videos on things to purchase for your RV that you will likely never think of - things to make traveling and camping easier. Of course, read many posts around here. The thing I struggle with most is with operating the awning - lots of good videos on You Tube for that but I still struggle a little.

Our travel trailer that we purchased used came with absolutely zero documentation and I've been busy finding it and making notes on how to operate the various systems.

@Neal - I'm shopping for insurance on our 2023 Newell that we'll pick up next month, and I see that you recommended Ronald L. Jarvie. Have you been happy with his service? The FMCA insurance resources cap out at lower limits than I need.
Thank you, Ed

Yes, @MapNerd referred me to him and he provided great service.

Welcome to the group.

Fwiw, I am now with Progressive through Brown & Brown. They were able to get me the same coverage for even less.
