Good afternoon! I have a new 2022 Forestriver Wildwood XL. I went through a bad freeze recently and as a newbie didn’t know to disconnect my water hose, water filter or sewage line. They all froze. The sewage hose and water filter broke. My water hose is fine. However, I tried to hook water back up to my RV and the water won’t flow. Did the freeze possibly cause some damage at the city water inlet? The water flows just fine from my fresh water tank via my water pump. But won’t flow with the city water direct hook up.

Also, am I supposed to keep it connected to city water all of the time or just keep my fresh tank filled and only use water from that source?

I sincerely appreciate any tips and tricks y’all are willing to send my way. I travel alone and need all the information I can get. Thank you so much!! 😀

It is possible that the hose inside your city water inlet is still frozen. Can you get to the back of your city water connection? If so feel the hose to see if it is frozen. Also check for leaks.

Does your furnace heat your water bay?

Welcome @Melinda Dean, I hope you've solved your problem, also check for any filters in the path.
